Recent technological advances have spurred on the study of topological phenomena in engineered bosonic systems. Examples of such systems include cold-atoms in optical lattices, integrated photonics, exciton-polariton systems, as well as coupled mechanical structures. The controllability of the engineered setups has opened up new perspectives for exploring higher-dimensional topological physics using induced coupling between different internal modes of the engineered building blocks. The ultimate vision of this research is to bring higher dimensional systems with new quantum phases to the lab.
The aim of this workshop is to bring together experimental and theoretical leading figures in order to discuss the far-reaching prospects of this emerging field. We welcome interested participants to register with the opportunity to present related results in poster form.
